Spring...finally, and travel plans begin

This Winter's Attire!

The coldest, longest, and snowiest winter in many years. This the everyday wear in the NEK it seems. It is time for a spring break!!!

Clearing out for the birds, they come first!!
Have remarkable goldfinches, purple finches and the occasional snow burning flock!

These snow buntings have taken up winter residence across the road from us, at our neighbor's house.
Perching on the power lines, flying and swooping in the air to come down on the ground or their deck, they feed on cracked corn.  They have visited us several times briefly. They have given us such delight this winter.
